Arrived in Vienna! This is my second time in Austria, and will be just about as transient as my first, just riding through on my way to Italy. I do want to see a LITTLE of it, though...
Cafe Central -- formerly frequented by such notables as Adolf Hitler and Leon Trotsky. Vienna has a lot of history.
Wurstel at Cafe Central. This is what a kaiser roll is SUPPOSED to be like.
The Funky Monkey pub in Vienna.
If you see this, and this photo is for you, you know who you are...
This is possibly the oddest clock I've seen. I'm still not sure how one is supposed to know the hour.
I'm not sure why I'm so fixated on Central European streetcars, but I really am fascinated by them.
Welcome to Bratislava
The Old City Hotel doesn't really have a facade -- just a door into a building that also houses several shops, bars, and a strip club.
I really thought the hotel layout was interesting. The rooms were spread out along an open passage that overlooked a covered "hof" which stayed a lot warmer than the outside.
